A DYING man is pleading to be allowed to spend his last months in his family home after he was hit with an eviction order.

Housebound James Montague has just six months to live. But the 58-year-old, who is blind and has stage six kidney failure, has been told he will be forced out of the home in Motherwell today because of a tenancy wrangle.

James said: "My family has been in the house for more than 60 years and all I am asking is that I am allowed to die here."

HOUSEBOUND James Montague faces being kicked out of his family home - despite having just six months to live.

And the 58-year-old, who is blind and suffers from stage six kidney failure, pleaded to be allowed to die there.

James has been informed he will be forcibly taken from his home in Motherwell today because of a tenancy wrangle.

Supporters are expected to protest against the eviction, which comes despite a medic saying it will be practically impossible" to safely move James.
