TV star Campbell chased folk around for dropping litter before breakdown and his bipolar diagnosis

NICKY Campbell has revealed how he used to chase people around parks picking up their litter before being diagnosed as bipolar.

The broadcaster told how he became obsessed with rubbish and spent hours picking it up.

The BBC radio presenter said he would come home to wife Tina with evidence that could prove who the litterbugs were and wanted to get the police involved.

The star, host of ITV's Long Lost Family, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder which causes mania after suffering a breakdown in public in 2013.

The 62-year-old told the Mid Point podcast how his behaviour manifested before having his breakdown.
