King can't meet youngest son ahead of Wills ceremony on Monday

No time for Harry

THE King will be too busy to see his son Prince Harry when he visits from the US this week.

The Duke of Sussex had hoped to visit Charles yesterday after travelling from his home in California to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, which he founded.

But in a dramatic 48 hours, when all the monarch’s engagements were made available to the Prince’s team, hopes of a meeting were dashed.

Alongside his cancer treatment, the King is now back to royal duties and trying to make up for lost time.

And among his engagements is handing over the role of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps to Prince William next week, it was confirmed yesterday. Wills will be at the Army Aviation Centre in Middle Wallop, Hants, for Monday’s ceremony.

The handover, announced last year, puts William at the head of the body Harry served in as a pilot.
