Perth wing king Dara hopes to be better than all the rest after being forced to kip in motor on night one following hotel mix-up
Sleep into something more comfortablé

DARA COSTELLOE'S loan got off to an uncomfortable start with a night spent kipping in his car.

But the Burnley winger insists he's felt at home at St Johnstone ever since and hopes to help them push up the Premiership.

Costelloe told how he parked up late expecting to check into a pre-booked hotel room the night before signing.

However, there was no answer at the locked-up digs and Costelloe could not get another place to rest in the early hours.

It was a worrying welcome to the world of Scottish football for the Irishman.

Costelloe said: "I'd agreed to sign so drove up from Burnley late in the day and didn't get to Perth until after midnight.

"I was booked into a hotel and they said there would be someone to contact to check in after hours.

"When I got there, I knocked on the door and phoned the number you had to phone... but couldn't get a hold of anyone.
