AN XL bully rescuer driving day and night to bring soon-to-be outlawed dogs to Scotland has defended the move.
Sammy Wilkinson, 29, from Tipton, West Midlands, has racked up 5500 miles relocating around 20 bullies to new homes north of the Border as restrictions came into force in England and Wales at the weekend.
Supporters have donated almost £10,000 to his mission, but he has also faced a backlash.
Sammy yesterday thanked Scots for opening their homes to XL bullies and assured the public that he will bring no unsafe animal into the country.
