A PROBE into the death of serial killer Peter Tobin is to be held after he died in hospital.
The 76-year-old was taken to hospital on September 9, 2022, after falling in his cell at HMP Edinburgh the night before.
The murderer had surgery for a broken hip and palliative care at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
The fiend, who was suffering from prostate cancer, died on October 8.
He was serving three life terms for the murders of Angelika Kluk, Vicky Hamilton and Dinah McNicol.
