Fest fans to be searched for disposable e-cigs

MUSIC fans heading to the TRNSMT festival tomorrow have been warned they'll be searched for banned disposable vapes.

Promoter Geoff Ellis, 59, revealed checks will be made at the entrance to make sure people don't bring in a list of prohibited items.

They include single-use vapes, drugs, flares, alcohol and food.

Ellis told the Record: "Disposable vapes are banned and people will have to dispose of them at the entrance.
