THE new Foreign Secretary has been urged to use his first trip to India next week to push for the release of detained Scot Jagtar Singh Johal.
Jagtar, 36, from Dumbarton, was in Punjab for his wedding in 2017 when he was arrested and bundled into an unmarked police car before being accused of involvement in a political murder plot.
