VAR WARS

RANGERS and SFA chiefs were last night at war amid claim and counter-claim over their VAR audio playback summit.

And Record Sport understands furious Ibrox chiefs have taken the extraordinary step of asking Hampden bosses to stand down telly official Willie Collum from all future games involving Philippe Clement's side.

Gers chiefs James Bisgrove and Creag Robertson met with SFA referees' supremo Crawford Allan yesterday to go through the recording of the on-field back and forth between Old Firm whistler Nick Walsh and Collum in the VAR control room.
