KYLE STEYN can't wait to rip it up at Hampden but promised the groundstaff they won't ruin their pitch.

We won't give you a turf time, promise

The Glasgow skipper will lead his side against Edinburgh at the home of Scottish football on December 22.

Steyn was part of Warriors side that lost to Leinster in the Pro 14 Final at Celtic Park in 2019.

And he is looking forward to playing in front of another massive Glasgow crowd.

The Scotland winger said: "That was my first time at Hampden the other day and I wasn't expecting it to be so awesome.

"It's a really decent bowl so I'm looking forward to it.

"They wouldn't let me on the pitch but it looks unbelievable from the side.
