A BLACK bear who has burgled 21 homes has been caught after over a year on the run.

The 35-stone beast, named Hank The Tank, despite being female, has terrorised the public with her three cubs since early 2022.

Biologists believe that Hank, who is much larger than most black bears, had grown unafraid of humans.

They say she had learned to use her strength to force her way into people's homes in Lake Tahoe, California.
