CIAN Ducrot gained a lot more than chart success with his debut album – it’s also helped heal old wounds from his dad leaving. 

His LP Victory touches on a difficult childhood involving his estranged father and growing up in Cork.

And revisiting that time has offered the singer/songwriter a lot of peace and clarity.

He told me: “It allowed me to sort of accept the feelings that I once had, and to write from a place that I am no longer in.
