DANIIL MEDVEDEV made Jannik Sinner suffer - and now the Russian wants to put "on fire" Carlos Alcaraz out of rainy Wimbledon.
World No.1 Sinner was left feeling sick as Medvedev gained revenge for January's Australian Open final defeat.
And instead of the anticipated clash between the Italian and the Spaniard, Medvedev will seek more retribution against the champion in a repeat of last year's semi-final.
World No.3 Alcaraz (inset) fought back to beat American Tommy Paul 5-7 6-4 6-2 6-2.
