A private service took place earlier, before the convoy-led by a VW camper van playing music from speakers-passed.
Handwritten notes have been left on the wall of Sinead's former home on Strand Road in Bray, Co Wicklow, in the days since her death.
A neighbour was seen placing lit candles on it ahead of the funeral.
