Greedy shops ARE charging too much

BANK of England governor Andrew Bailey says there is evidence some retailers are overcharging shoppers. 

And he has backed regulator moves to tackle “Greedflation” to stop stores taking advantage of high inflation by pushing through price hikes.

It comes after the Competition and Markets Authority claimed earlier this week that drivers paid nearly £1billion more for fuel at supermarkets last year.
