TEFL course to boost CV?

Dear James, I GRADUATED from my English degree last year, but have struggled to find work apart from some retail shifts. My other work experience so far has been in bar work, and I didn't do much extra-curricular stuff at uni so I'm struggling to make my CV stand out.

One of my friends mentioned the TEFL course to teach English abroad and I'm interested. Do you think this qualification is worth getting?
