ILKAY GUNDOGAN revealed the toughest call he had to make was to tell boss Pep Guardiola he was leaving Manchester City.
The Germany midfielder completed his move to Barcelona yesterday after turning down a new deal at the Etihad.
Gundogan, 32, has penned a two-year contract with the option of a third- at the La Liga giants.
He brings down the curtain on seven glorious years in England where he won five Premier League titles, the Champions League, two FA Cups and four League Cups.
Gundogan played 51 games last season and scored 11 goals - including a double in the FA Cup final as City won the Treble.
But Guardiola could not convince the popular skipper to stay.
