DONNY VAN DE BEEK has not given up on his Manchester United dream – but the Dutch star admits his future at the club is in doubt.
The midfielder, 26, scored a stunning volley yesterday as Erik ten Hag’s team – which included Jonny Evans – beat Lyon 1-0 at Murrayfield.
It was his first game since January. A serious knee injury curtailed his
campaign after what has been a disappointing few years for him since a £35m move from Ajax in 2020.
But Van de Beek has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer with potential suitors interested across Europe.
United jetted off to the US last night as they continue their preparations for the new season Stateside.
Van de Beek will hope he can continue to impress there to either force his way into Ten Hag’s plans or earn a move away.
