LEEDS skipper Ethan Ampadu insists the players still believe in themselves even though their rivals feel another promotion bid is unravelling.

Swansea fans gleefully sang "Leeds are falling apart again" after Zan Vipotnik bagged an equaliser six minutes into stoppage time at Elland Road.

Daniel Farke's side have slipped to second behind Sheffield United and level on points with Burnley after taking just six points from their last five games.

Leeds blew up last season and in 2019, but Ampadu (right) insists they are ignoring all the outside noise.

"Whether we had won, drawn or lost, our season wouldn't have been over," said the Wales midfielder. "This team is full of belief.

"We've got many results where we've come back and shown our character and we're going to continue doing that.

"There is still a long way to go. We're going to forget about this quickly, we're an honest group and we'll keep working until the end. We need to see games out better, we can't let this happen again.
