THE HIGH NUMBER of customer grievances continues to be a matter of serious concern as 95 scheduled commercial banks received over 10 million complaints from customers in 2023-24, Reserve Bank of India governor Sanjay Malhotra said.

Addressing the annual conference of the RBI Ombudsmen, the governor emphasised the need for significantly enhancing customer experience so as to obviate any need for grievance redressal.
