Burke's funds frozen as court order is made

THE High Court yesterday appointed a receiver over the salary of teacher Enoch Burke and made an order on his bank account.
-
It is part of efforts to recoup the thousands of euro in fines he has incurred for his protest at Wilson's Hospital School.
Mr Justice David Nolan made a conditional order of garnishee over the bank account up to €79,100, the sum so far built up by Mr Burke for disobeying High Court orders to stay away from the Westmeath school where he used to work.
