THE men who filmed “the wolf that escaped Dublin Zoo” are “howling with laughter” their spoof video has gone viral.
The clip, taken by taxi driver Barry Griffin, and uploaded to TikTok by his pal Conor Reid, has had nearly one million views so far.
It showed giant Blondie, a Husky- Alsatian cross, roaming around a Dublin housing estate in the dark with the caption “Wolf escapes from Dublin Zoo”.
In the clip, Barry, from Ballyfermot, can be heard saying, “That’s the wolf that got out of Dublin Zoo earlier on. That’s the wolf there” as the camera points at the animal loping around parked cars.
The video, taken on the Kylemore Road in the West Dublin suburb in the early hours of last Friday, resulted in the capital’s zoo having to confirm none of their seven wolves have escaped.
