Greater Manchester's Chief Constable has now ruled former Detective Constable Georgia Curley would have been sacked had she not already resigned.
Chief Constable Stephen Watson, who chaired a misconduct hearing at GMP HQ, said he was "presented with incontrovertible evidence of unlawful drug use" and her "offending behaviour was clearly unlawful".
