Merc carnage on school run

THERE was chaos as a black Mercedes ploughed into a bus stop – metres away from a Bee Network bus carrying workers and schoolchildren.

Residents in Salford told the M.E.N they ran from their homes after hearing the sound of scraping metal at around 8am yesterday. As they reached the street, they were greeted with a scene of carnage.

They watched as the luxury car was pulled away from the bus stop. The Merc had also become lodged on top of a row of bins.
