The 30-year-old winger trained with his new team-mates for the first time on Friday and has been named in Paul Rowley's 21-man squad for the contest with the Tigers.
"He's in the squad, so there's a chance he plays," said assistant coach Krisnan Inu, who Rowley recently praised for his role in securing the signature of the sought-after Nofoaluma following his departure from West Tigers.
"David brings a lot of experience, that's what he's here for," added Inu. "He'll be doing the same job Ken Sio would have been doing if he was still here.
"We see him slotting into that spot wherever we see he fits best, whether that's on the left or right.
