They had danced up and down in the same Goodison Park seats following their first-ever Premier League win in September.

When Jack Harrison became Everton’s first FA Cup goalscorer against Luton since Gary Lineker, a replay looked likely.

But in the sixth minute of added time, substitute Cauley Woodrow scrambled in the winner after Carlton Morris’ header had been blocked on the line by Arnaut Danjuma.

The matchwinner had broken a hand in a collision with Everton defender James Tarkowski and said: “He fell on me accidently and I felt a crack. I was in a bit of shock for a while.”
