ARC hopes to delist from the JSE

African Rainbow Capital (ARC), backed by billionaire Patrice Motsepe, intends to delist from the JSE, the group announced in a statement on Sens yesterday.

The group is offering its shareholders R9.75 per share.

ARC's share price firmed to R9.12 in early morning trade—4.47% up from the previous day.

According to the statement, the offer represents a premium of 12.6% to the closing price of R8.66 per share and a premium of 21% to the 30-day volume weighted average price of R8.06 per share as at market close on Friday. It also represents a discount of 22.8% to the net asset value per share as set out in the ARC interim results announcement issued earlier yesterday.
