Sources in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claim that the party is likely to contest five seats in Nashik out of 15 constituencies. It is also speculated that the former Union Minister Dr Bharti Pawar will get candidacy from her home turf. It is very much assumed that the Mahayuti's three-party alliance will divide seats equally here in Nashik. The Shiv Sena Shinde faction is also in favour of announcing candidature to former MP Hemant Godse.
