CM LAUNCHES HOUSING FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKERS

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel initiated the construction of temporary housing facilities in four major cities of Gujarat— Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Rajkot, and Vadodara—this July under the Shramik Basera Yojana.

The project, progressing rapidly, aims to provide well-equipped housing at 17 strategic locations, ensuring improved living conditions for construction workers.
Affordable Housing for Construction Workers
The Shramik Basera Yojana offers rental housing at a highly subsidized rate of 5 per day for registered construction workers and their families, affiliated with the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Children aged six years or younger are accommodated free of charge.
