WAYNE Rooney has stressed to his Plymouth Argyle squad that the opportunity to play for the team is there for all of them, on the day he was officially unveiled as the Pilgrims new boss at a Home Park press conference yesterday.
The new Pilgrims' boss is not interested in what has happened in the past at the club. He will base his selection on what he sees from every single one of them on the training pitch.
Rooney made those comments during a team meeting at Home Park yesterday as Argyle began pre-season training ahead of the 2024/25 Championship campaign.
