City praised as excellent place to raise family

PLYMOUTH has been named as one of the top places in the UK to settle down and raise a family.

A new list compiled by the Daily Mail has looked at property prices, crime rates, schooling, and local amenities, to identify the top spots to embark on a new family life.

Plymouth's relaxed atmosphere, affordable housing, and picturesque setting nestled between the South West coast and Dartmoor National Park, make it a city that ticks a lot of boxes in terms of what families may be looking for.

Writing for the Daily Mail, Angela Epstein comments: "Choosing where to buy a home and settle down as a family can be one of life's most important decisions. The implications on your finances and family's happiness are huge.
