A PLYMOUTH MP has hit out at the "cloud of confusion" hanging over the future of two amphibious ships based at Devonport dockyard.
Devonport MP Luke Pollard has called for "clarity" from ministers after a new statement revealed HMS Bulwark may not return to sea, despite an earlier pledge from a minister.
During a Parliamentary Debate on January 24, the Government said that neither Albion nor Bulwark would be scrapped and that the ships would not be mothballed.
