Firm behind city pizza takeaways on verge of collapse

THE company which runs 10 Papa John's pizza takeaways in the South West - including outlets in Plymouth, Exeter and Newquay - is on the verge of going out of business.

Renz Restaurants Ltd has called a meeting of creditors and is considering winding up the company and having it liquidated.

The Camberley-based business held a meeting with its creditors on Tuesday, November 14, and has called another on November 22 to consider a resolution to wind up the company. It has been working with Nottingham's Bridgewood Financial Solutions Ltd, at which two staff members have been nominated as liquidators.

Renz Restaurants Ltd trades from the three Papa Johns outlets in Plymouth in Mutley Plain, Woolwell and St Budeaux.
