A PLYMOUTH primary school where pupils love learning and work to stop bullying has been praised by inspectors. Ofsted said Montpelier Primary School values "curiosity, creativity and confidence" after visiting for an ungraded inspection.
The education inspectorate said the North Down Road school "continually re-invents itself" to meet the needs of children and families. It said many pupils also benefit from spaces such as 'The Treehouse, 'The Den, or 'Champions' Corner, where they get support with social, emotional and academic challenges.
Inspectors said staff "take every opportunity" to encourage pupils to develop their creativity and confidence, with many youngsters leaning to play musical instruments or perform as part of the school choir.
And they said youngsters themselves are helping to ensure "harmonious relationships" across the school.
