SIMON HALLETT has increased his stake in Plymouth Argyle to 87% after agreeing to buy 3.3 million shares from some outgoing investors of Argyle Green LLC.
They include Argyle Green managing members Michael and David Mincberg, with the former also withdrawing from the club's board of directors as part of the deal. Nick Giannotti will remain as an Argyle director, and become the sole managing member of Argyle Green, who purchased a 20% shareholding in the Pilgrims for £4 million last August.
Hallett told Argyle's official club website: "I would like to thank Michael, David, and the other outgoing investors for their efforts and support of the club last season.
