MAN HAD ALREADY CYCLED 12,000 MILES
A CYCLIST on a world tour adventure died in Indonesia after losing control of his bike down a steep hill.
An inquest into the death of Nathan Paul Molyneaux heard how the 43-year-old super fit adventurer had already completed some 12,000 miles of an around the wold cycle tour when he lost control of a hired motorcycle whilst in Bali, Indonesia.
Born in Portsmouth, Nathan grew up in Cornwall and developed a love of the great outdoors from an early age. After completing a PhD at Leeds University he went on to work in academia then in business but, by his own admission in a blog about his world trip, rekindled his love of cycling, travelling and photography during the Covid pandemic and decided to go on a worldwide adventure rather be stuck in the rat race.
