COSY Greenbank pub The Seymour Arms has reopened under new management and the hostelry's new landlord and landlady are giving the well-situated pub a fresh community vibe, with tasty, traditional pub grub now on the menu.
The couple now in charge have never run a pub before, but they are determined to make it a success.
Husband-and-wife team Simon and Danielle Parker, who met two years ago at a job interview and were married nine months later, are excited to be running The Seymour Arms and turning it into a welcoming venue for locals, students and families, and it's a dog-friendly pub.
From Halloween parties for kids and adults, to the launch of a new food menu, the newly managed pub also has a lot of exciting plans ahead.
