A NEW £7 million share rights issue in Plymouth Argyle has been completed ahead of the club's £21m redevelopment of the Brickfields site in Devonport.
Chairman and majority owner Simon Hallett (pictured) has taken up 80 per cent of the new shares while the US-based group of investors Argyle Green, whose managing member is Nick Giannotti, have acquired the rest. That equates to a split of £5.6m to £1.4m.
Brickfields is to become a new permanent home to Argyle's academy as well as providing a home ground for Plymouth Argyle Women and a new community hub.
