Maha focus shifts to portfolios

AFTER Devendra Fadnavis was sworn in as the Maharashtra Chief Minister on Thursday and his allies Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar as deputy CMs, all eyes are now on portfolio allocations and power-sharing formula in the new Maha Yuti government.

In his first press conference after taking oath, Fadnavis said the three allies - BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP - almost decided the portfolio allocations, but they need to again hold discussions before announcing the ministerial list. "Portfolio allocations will be done in the coming days," he said.
