JOFRA ARCHER is back to full throttle and relishing today's "cup final" with the Aussies on the back foot.
On Friday, after England's batsmen ran riot, Archer nudged 93mph on the speed gun as the hosts' cartel of young quick bowlers levelled the Metro Bank one-day series at 2-2 to set up a mouthwatering decider in Bristol.
Making his first appearance in white-ball cricket at Lord's since his super-over heroics at the 2019 World Cup Final, Archer rolled back the years and gave the Aussies the hurry-up.
He dismissed big hitters Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell as England romped home by 186 runs.
Durham pair Matthew Potts and Brydon Carse were dangerous accomplices in helpful conditions, and Archer admitted he was able to graze in the outfield and enjoy the floor show.
