Lags give spy hero's welcome
INMATES at one of Britain's toughest prisons have given a hero's welcome to jailbreak spy Daniel Khalife.
Khalife, 23, sparked a huge manhunt when he broke out of Category B Wandsworth jail by strapping himself to the underside of a food lorry in September.
The ex-squaddie was caught after three days on the run and jailed for 14 years in February for passing secrets to Iran.
This month he was moved to HMP Frankland, Co Durham, where lags "treated him like a legend", according to a source.
