I'm over Wagatha Christie

The wife of football star Wayne was lumbered with the moniker - a nod to mystery writer Agatha Christie - after she turned detective to expose rival WAG Rebekah Vardy as the source of leaks about her life.

Coleen, 38, has been in the spotlight for two decades over her relationship with childhood sweetheart Wayne, 39.

But now, as she takes on the I'm a Celebrity jungle, the mum of four wants to shake off the past and be seen as herself.

She says: "I think I'd rather just be known as Coleen from Liverpool. It's just me, as I always have been, so hopefully people just think she's that Scouser that she's always been." In her only interview ahead of going into the camp, Coleen reveals she checked in with Wayne and her mother Colette after landing in Oz.

She had already spoken to sons Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six, before leaving the UK.

Coleen says: "My phone got taken off me when we landed. My last [call] was to Wayne.

The kids were at school, so I'd already pre-spoken to them. So it was just good luck and I just wanted to see if the kids got off to school OK.

"Not having that contact, I'd say up until now, has been the biggest thing.
