WAYNE ROONEY rejected claims he waved the white flag at Elland Road after Leeds coasted past struggling Plymouth to go second in the Championship.
The Pilgrims boss was taunted by the home fans with chants of, 'You're getting sacked in the morning' and worse as Leeds stretched their unbeaten run to eight games with three goals in the space of eight firsthalf minutes.
But an unflustered Rooney, who claimed not to have heard the abuse, was unrepentant over his decision to mothball several of his first choices including Morgan Whittaker with one eye on Tuesday's drop-zone showdown with Portsmouth.
