'Superstition rules, not governance on tech turf'

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a swipe at chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's 'superstitious beliefs,' saying it was the biggest hindrance to social justice and development. "The city of Hyderabad is a major IT hub, but what I see here is superstition decides who gets dropped from cabinet, who will go where, where to live, and office location. People here want development. BJP will place people first and not the family first," Modi said.

He said the entire country should know what is going on here. "If the state has to be developed and if we have to lift the state from backwardness, we will have to remove superstition from here," he stressed.
