In 1925 Gelmino Chesini made a racing bike in his small workshop in Nesente, a village near Verona, and named it the Chesini Biciprecision.
In 1947 Gelmino was ready to expand, and so bought a factory in Verona where he could upscale his production.
The timing was perfect, allowing Chesini to capitalise on the post-war increase in demand for bikes.
