JACOB TIPPER - Learning from the Masters

Last week I raced the Masters Tour of Majorca. While it may sound like a cop-out racing against masters only aged 31, the standard was a long way above my current fitness level, although I still liked to title my Strava rides ‘holiday race’ in the hope it may wind up a few competitors.

Besides the racing being fast and furious, you couldn’t ask for a better race. Not only are you on the beautiful Balearic island in golden Mediterranean sunshine, the actual organisation is just phenomenal. A fully closed road race is just something else compared to UK racing, it’s the safest I have felt in a bunch for years.
