MARK Robins hailed Coventry’s last-gasp heroics after an “unbelievable performance” saw his Sky Blues dump out Premier League side Wolves in dramatic fashion.
The Championship outfit stunned their top-flight foes with two goals in added time to book a first semi-final in this competition since they won it in 1987.
It looked like they would be leaving with broken hearts after two goals in the final ten minutes from Rayan Ait-Nouri and Hugo Bueno overturned Ellis Simms’ opener and seemed to set a Wembley date for Wolves.
But the Championship side were not done and in nine minutes of time added on they turned the quarter-final tie around again, with Simms grabbing a second and then Haji Wright earning himself folklore by grabbing the winner.
He said: “We were brave. We had enough of the ball to cause them problems and we did that, but we didn’t take those chances and you look at it and think it’s going to come back to bite us.
“We managed to get the first goal, but then they get two and in the 88th minute I asked the fourth official how long were left and he said nine minutes.
