SOMETHING'S GOTTEN HOLD OF MY KART Nintendo Switch 2

Most of what we currently know about the Switch 2 can be gleaned from looking at this picture of it: it's another handheld console with a dock for connecting it to your TV. A short announcement video showed a bigger screen (probably 8in) and enlarged Joy-Cons, with a chunkier kickstand, but Nintendo has been coy about revealing much more.

For a new Play Station or Xbox that would be a big problem, but Nintendo's consoles aren't really about raw power, so running through the specs wouldn't be that impressive anyway - it's about what you can do with, not how close it runs the PS5 Pro for teraflops.

Nintendo has at least confirmed one big thing: it'll be backwards-compatible with original Switch cartridges. That's great news... but let's hope the unidentified Mario Kart game it's seen running in the trailer won't be just another version of Mario Kart 8 with more tracks.

This is clearly an evolution rather than a full-on gaming revolution, then-but given the world-beating success of the Switch, that's fine by us. Expect more details in early April.

I WANT YOUR SOCKS Roborock Saros Z7O

If your gaff ever gets so messy it looks like a small grenade has gone off in the laundry basket, it might be time to call in... the bomb squad? With a mechanical arm that emerges from a flap in the top, Roborock's Saros Z70 looks like one of those robots that's wheeled off to investigate suspicious packages, but the most dangerous thing it'll pick up is your smelly socks.
