Shibani and Farhan Akhtar share their travel dynamics, love for luxury, and why Raffles Udaipur, with its serene ambiance, is the ultimate getaway.

Tell us about the kind of traveller each one of you is-and how do you find a middle ground when you travel together?

Shibani Akhtar: I think we're really great travel buddies, because we complement each other in so many ways. When we travel together, it's the time where we connect the most because it's uninterrupted. It's just me and him. It's also yin and yang-the organised and the chaotic. Obviously, I'm the organised one [laughs]. He loves to go to museums and look at the history, and I love to shop.

We both love to be there for each other while we're doing the kind of things that we love. Travel is when we really connect the most as a couple.
