It's hard to describe Ambreen's hair and makeup style in just one word, but ethereal might just sum it up. The artist, behind Ambreen Makeup, is reigning bridal beauty queen in the UK, and a couple of scroll on her Instagram feed is enough testimony. Over the years, she has lent her magic and makeup wand to the faces of hundreds of brides, creating one-of-a-kind looks. While she's earned her name as a pro, Ambreen's foray into the industry was a beautiful coincidence. "When I think about my journey, I'm still amazed how a little dream grew into this well-known reputable brand. After pursing a marketing degree, I took a year out to figure out what I really wanted to do professionally. Being 1 of 5 sisters, we were always surrounded by some sort of makeup and got up to all sorts of antics, getting dressed up for weddings and family events. This was naturally very exciting but my desire to gain knowledge of products and different makeup techniques led me to study artistry," she reveals of her journey.

In 2003, Ambreen joined M.A.C. Cosmetics to pursue her career. "Things excelled pretty quickly and I was scouted at an event by a publication company to come on board for editorial shoots. I found myself immersed in the Asian wedding industry. The demand was growing massively and weddings were becoming more and more elaborate," she adds.
